A friend of mine had an interesting take on Angel’s catcher Mike Napoli last night while watching game 3 of the Red Sox-Angels series. He said, “Napoli gives me hope that there is still a chance I can play major league baseball”. I found the comments to be quite funny; I’ve been harping about Napoli being a fat ass all series. I don’t like his double chins. I don’t like how his walk out song is Soulja Boy either but that’s neither here nor there.
That’s Mike on the far right inappropriately touching that poor girl. This is just one example in a number of photos that hit thedirty.com no long after the Angels clinched a playoff birth. Including this one where Napoli is once again touching the merch. I already knew he looked like a d-bag but now we know he can also back that look up with actions. At the same time, I love to see this stuff because it is healthy to laugh amd it’s the type of shenanigans that keep the site going.
First of all, I happen to know Mike, and he is a really good guy, and an even better ball player. He’s young, so of course he going to have the moments your viewing above in that picture, haven’t we all? Second of all, he’s really not as fat as a lot of people think he is. I am going to sound like a total pansy saying this, but he just has a really round face, he’s actually a pretty solid guy in person. I am not going to sit here and defend him like am am best friends with him, or like im his mother, but Christ, give the guy some credit….

I agree with J.D. Mike is young so who really cares? Plus he’s a pro ball player, don’t most of them party? I disagree with the fat comment. He is not fat. I LOVE his double chin. He is adorable and hot. What’s better is he is not only the All-Star Angel’s catcher but I think he is a huge fan of his own team. He has devotion like no other and will probably always be an Angel.
Ya that girl really looks like she is having a bad time. He not touching her, the beer is. Guys do that to me to. I don’t feel offended by it. AND he is not fat at all, by your definition of fat i guess everyone in the picture is fat. He is very cute and a GREAT ball player. Don’t be jealous.
I also know Mike personally, and he is a really great person. The ultimate guy’s guy. But he’s totally not a creeper. He comes from a good family and is really respectful of the ladies. He dated my best friend from college all through high school and most of college and they are still very close. Couldnt be happier for his success, he totally deserves it.
