Deangelo Hall Released

After trading a second and fifth round pick and signing Hall to a 7 year $72 million, the Raiders have parted ways with the veteran cornerback.  The raiders have started 2-6 and were absolutely embarrassed by the falcons last week.

Kevin Johnson elected Mayor of Sacramento

Keven Johnson, yes “KJ” from the Phoenix Suns, was elected Mayor of Sacramento yesterday. No word yet on Dan Majerle’s role in his cabinet. Although this potential public infraction this past Spring may have cost “Thunder” Dan his spot as Deputy Mayor. Congrats KJ!
