Turn that frown upside-down Dwight… it’s Friday!
The best part about Game 1 were the Van Gundy’s comments. First Jeff said during the game when asked about Stan not wearing a tie; “When you look like us there really is no good look.”
Then after the game during Stan’s post game presser he absolutely tore Jameer Nelson to shreds. I wonder if the reason why he didn’t play so well is because he hasn’t played since February. Stan needs to look himself in the mirror for who to blame on this one–he is the one who played Nelson for 23 minutes in game one of the Finals after 5 months away from the court.
The next game is not until Sunday, as the NBA attempts to milk the Finals for all they can.
Strikeforce has a card this weekend airing on Showtime and it is actually rather intriguing.

You’d think that Strikeforce and Showtime would want to actually promote this thing but apparently that is not a concern to them as I have not heard a word about it.
Although, Robbie Lawler did throw out the first pitch at Thursday’s St. Louis Cardinals game…

WEC: Brown vs. Faber II is Sunday live on VERSUS.
The biggest fight of Mike Brown and Urijah Faber’s careers. Either Brown gets elevated as the undisputed champ at 145 or Faber avenges an awkward loss to Brown.
There are some other good fights on the card too including the Josh Grispi Vs. Jens Pulver fight which should be exciting.

This was Internet Week in case you didn’t know. I guess it’s kind of like fashion week except instead of a ton of hot models inhabiting NYC this week it was mainly huge nerds.
