The person who is winning your bracket pool at this moment is likely the one with the best insight into the Tourney. I’m not bias at all–but as you might have guessed, I am that guy.
Going into yesterday, and coming out of yesterday, I have a a first place bracket in all three of the pools I am in.
I have three of the four final four teams correct including ‘Nova. The only problem; I had Louisville winning it all. Looking back that was probably a bad pick. The odds of them making it to the Final Weekend AND winning it all… probably pretty slim.
So it took until the final weekend but my bracket busted out yesterday afternoon as the Spartans dismantled, my pick to win it all, the Cardinals.
Three of the four Final Four teams correct, so close to all four and I have nearly no chance of winning any of the 3 pools I am in. To go with my 3/4 in the Final Four, I had 6/8 Elite Eight teams and 12/16 Sweet Sixteen teams.
You would think I would be mad at Michigan State but it’s actually the complete opposite. I think they might be the team I’d like to see win it most.
Since my bracket is officially busted here is what I would like to have happen.
First, we know I definitely do not want to see Connecticut in the finals. Thus I am rooting hard for MSU on Saturday. I picked ‘Nova as my 3 seed underdog to make the Final Four and they made me proud. This I like them over UNC.
A ‘Nova-MSU final is the way to go. A championship shootout filled with great guard play and swarming defense.
