su-cornellAfter being up 9-6, Cornell saw their cinderella national championship hopes slowly fade to Orange. With under 30 seconds left in the game Syracuse was down 9-8 as they commit a crucial turnover. All Cornell had to do was run the clock out. However, a turnover near mid-field with only seconds remaining lead to a game tieing ‘Cuse goal with just 4 seconds left on the clock.

The game went to sudden death overtime and as you can imagine the Big Red had nothing left. The win game just moments into the overtime period.

A side note, if you tell me you knew what conference Cleveland State was in before yesterday then I’m telling you that you are from Ohio. I bet Boeheim would have needed 3 guesses before yesterday to get it correct.

This is not the loss Boeheim wanted after good wins against ranked Florida and ranked Kansas.

In any case, the video is exceptional, take a look. You can feel the frustration mounting in poor Jim. I’d honestly feel bad if I didn’t dislike ‘Cuse.
